Essential Oils and Blends to Give You A Boost of Health & Happiness
If you take a peek at the ingredients for most of our bath bombs, soaps, body butter and other products, can you guess what key ingredient makes our products (and our store!) smell so good?
Essential oils.
We have been sourcing essential oils for our products for almost two decades from dozens of different vendors and have chosen the ones that meet our high standards. After being asked a hundred and one times from our favorite customers to start offering essential oils for sale, we are finally making that request a reality.
Late last year we decided to make this a project and we're happy to announce that we are now offering twenty-five pure, therapeutic grade essential oils -- the exact same ones that we use in products like the French Lavender Body Butter or the Oh, My Sore Muscles Bath Bomb.
Along with those twenty-five oils, we’ve concocted five blends that we hope will improve your mood, decrease your stress, and help you get stuff done.
Our 5 New Essential Oil Blends
1) Balance
If you’ve been feeling tired lately, have been swinging from one mood to the other, or have been finding yourself unable to focus, you might be able to point a finger at some kind of imbalance. Put this therapeutic blend that contains lavender, geranium, and patchouli in your diffuser, or place a handful of drops in a hot bath to experience its full benefits.
2) Detox
Feeling bloated or groggy? Add this blend of essential oils of lavender, patchouli, and rosemary to a spray bottle of water to use in your living areas or simply unscrew the lid and smell it for a cleansing boost.
3) Relax
Perfect in the bag of the grad student on the run or on the desk of a full-time mom, the Relax essential blend exists to help you de-stress. Mix this therapeutic blend with a carrier oil, like our Fractionated Coconut Oil, and apply it to your wrists, temples, or feet. This blend contains lavender, cedarwood, and vetiver essential oils known to help with easing the mind and body.
4) Happiness
Irritated or in bad mood? Mix this therapeutic blend of essential oils of grapefruit, bergamot & Douglas fir anywhere and everywhere you’d like. Add a few drops to cotton balls and place them in your car vents, mix it in with your laundry, or add it to your diffuser so you’re more likely to have a smile on your face all day long.
5) Focus
If you have a big presentation at work or find that you’ve just been absent-minded lately, we highly recommend coming over to the store to sniff the Focus blend. It contains sweet orange and peppermint essential oils both known to help with concentration and focus. Dilute with our Fractionated Coconut Oil and dab it on your wrists and your temples and give yourself a mini massage.
What Other Ways Can You Use Essential Oils?
As you read from the descriptions above, there are a variety of creative ways that you can use essential oils in your everyday life. We will be carrying essential oil diffusers and other related products soon.
Also, as a company that values reducing our carbon footprint as much as possible, we want to be as resourceful as possible with what we have. That’s why we’ll be offering other products that you can use with essential oils, like Wool Dryer Balls that can replace dryer sheets and cut your drying time in half.
We’d also love to know the way you use essential oils! Feel free to leave a comment below or drop us a note on our Facebook page. We can’t wait to hear from you!
Peace, love, and soap,
