I just started using this brand's shampoo bars in the last few months and have been blown away. I've never had a set brand of shampoo/conditioner and was always switching from one brand of bottled "natural" shampoo to the next trying to find one that I liked. I've had build up on my scalp for years and years and had just become accustomed to it and figured that's just the way it is. I used the Apricot scented shampoo from here ONCE and the build up on my scalp was gone!
I'm never using another shampoo EVER. All their scents are amazing but this has to be my favorite. It has a slightly spiced cinnamon-ish smell with sweet and sour cranberry, literally the holiday season in a bar.
It leaves your hair clean, soft and feeling healthy. I found that it can leave your roots a little flat but i tried washing twice and it majorly increases the volume leaving (mine and my family's hair at least) very lifted at the roots and not weighed down.
A family member came to visit and after using one of these bars, immediately bought their own.

Product Impression:
I am blown away. This shampoo bar is solid, ergonomic to the hand, textured such that it doesn’t feel slippery in my grip, and smells like the holiday season. I scrubbed it on my scalp about 6 times or so and it was incredibly foamy and refreshing. The best shampoo I’ve had this year.
General Impression:
This company is so nice. I emailed them with anxious questions about vegan products they recommend to fit my scent preferences, they responded in the hour. When I got my order, they included a sincere hand written note by the person I was helped by and a free sample of Peppermint Lip Balm (also vegan). Mountain Madness Soap Co. provides a quality of service unmatched by any competitor I’ve done business with.
Reviewer Background:
I never write reviews. I have been using bar shampoos for a year and moving to a vegan and minimal lifestyle the past two years. First I was using a "collaborative" subscription service that wasn't as transparent as I hoped. Then I switched to Amazon, which I had didn't like supporting. Finally I found this business that makes their own soap products from local ingredients and packages them in minimal ways, and does so with sincere representation of who they are.
